My WONDERFUL AMAZING sister-in-law brought me a coffee to work mid-morning. Since I had already had one I drank half of it at lunch and am saving the other half for tomorrow! My first post

Greetings!



This is my first post ever. I am Brent's wife and I started training with Jim last week. I will be traveling for the next several days. I believe this blog will help me be accountable, especially while away from home.



So over the next six days I have to do the following:

300 squats

100 pushups

150 situps

100 pullups

6- 12 minute sprints.

Workout:

  • 20 minutes of
    • Five push ups
    • Five bent over rows
    • One minute exercise bike (high resistance)
  • First couple rounds of push ups were off a dumbbell rack, then I switched to regular push ups

My dear sweet co-worker brought me a box of sugar-babys at lunch today. Since I didn't want to hurt her feelings by not eating some I opened them and decided to have just a few. October 5th, 2011

So... Yeah...

Today is my son's 11th birthday. I moved my rest day from Friday to today, so that I would have time to make his birthday dreams come true. :)

Long story short, lots of snack foods today. I ate good stuff too, but there were enough treats scattered throughout the day that recording all of it isn't going to be pretty.

This also counts for our celebration meal (which we usually have on Sunday).

Ran 2.5 miles first thing this morning

Workout:

5 rounds of 5 suitcase dead lifts with 70's

5 rounds of 5 double kb squats (really wanted to do all of these with the 44s but as soon as I squatted with them my back said NO WAY so went down to the 35s)

Notes:

Grrr.. Just had a very negative experience at the gym.  Need to vent. 

 

I went to workout at my corporate gym, at a location I don't usually go to.  My usual gym had a yoga class at the  time I could work out, so I thought I'd just run over to a different location.  It turned out to be a less than ideal workout area, as the kettlebells are out on the basketball court, so folks were shooting hoops…
