These were an experiment. Haven't done these in a long time. What I found was that my wrist will not tolerate these with any kind of weight or volume. I have an old injury from board breaking that makes anything like this painful.

WORK OUT 2/6

WARM UP W/ TGU'S ALTERNATED WITH PULL-UPS  16KG X 2  20 KG X 2 AND 24KG

 

10 min continuous snatches with the 16kg.. did not set it down and swithced hands every minute.. not an exact count but i think my total was right about 190

 

6 min LC clean and press w/20kg hand switched every minute @ 8 rpm

 

6 min jerks w/20kg first set 90sec  second set @ 60 sec and last set @ 30 sec.. averaged 12rpm

OMG!! I HAVEN'T POSTED SINCE THE 26TH!!

So I don't remember everything I've done.. I do remember I took the 28th and 29th off.. I finished my ladders off using the 24kg for reps 2 and 3 and the 20kg for 5 reps..  I did some random stuff on the off days.. apparently school is starting to interfere with my posting!! I'll try to keep up again.

Have a plan. Keep the plan very simple, and then stick to the plan.

TURKISH GETUPS 16KG-32KG 1 X EACH.



A little down time after 10,000 swings in January and a very productive cycle of presses. Got a few tests to do to see how these new programs have worked within the next week or so.



I used the 10,000 swings this year as part of a bigger program, much the same as I stumbled on last year. I have made similar progress. I have no injuries and I am stronger. That is the bottom line.

10,000 SWINGS DONE!



Also, I hit a new distance (time) in the one-arm long cycle press, 4 minutes with the 32kg. I'm proud of that. It really was relatively easy. 16 reps per hand, and it felt way easier than 18 presses the other day.



Today's workout:

24kg warmup

Long Cycle Press: 1 minute per hand (8L/8R)

1 minute swings (30 reps)



32kg

Long Cycle Press: 4 minutes (16L/16R)
