Aug 18th Food and Workout

Workout-

Had great aspirations for an amazing run 1st thing this morning but did not get my sorry behind out of bed in time so I only got in 1.4 miles. Oh well.....

Breakfast:

3 turkey bacons

1 banana (felt it was ok to have this since I had just ran...??)

 

Workout-

3 sets of 3 reps of double kb squats with the 44s

2 sets of 5 reps of double kb squats with 35s

100 snatches with 26  50 reps L and 50 reps R non-stop

August 16th Workout and Food Log

Workout-

200 yd sprints X 5

After that I just kinda killed time until Tim was done....

I think I did 4 rounds of 5 ring rows and 10 push-ups

 

Food-

Breakfast:

Lunch:

Salad with chicken, bacon, tom, cheese    a little bit of honey mustard dipped with my fork

2 sets of 5 reps of double kb squats with 35s

 

5 min LCJ(long cycle jerk) L hand 59 reps

5 min LCJ R hand 59 reps

Enough to qualify me for Rank I     just gotta work on consistency and not eeking out the last few reps

August 11th Food and Workout Log

Workout-

4 min tabata sets of sprints   4x      Let me just say that I really don't like sprinting. And to do it for that long was pure torture.   BUT....I did it! Good workout!

Aug 10 Food and Workout Log

Workout-

Planned on going to the gym yesterday but after my dad had the girls all day while I was at work I could tell he was ready for me to come get them. So for the sake of his sanity and my need for him to watch them again sometime I chose to put that first! Missed not being there though! And since I don't get to go to the gym on Wed since I have to work I did my own workout tonight. Rachel had told me that they had done the 10 min of 300 squats non-stop and so I had to try it.…

August 8th Workout and Food Log

Workout-

5 sets of 5 Double KB squats with 35s

4 1/2 min Clean and Jerk Long Cycle R hand 56 reps

4 1/2 min Clean and Jerk Long Cycle L hand 56 reps

9 min non-stop.....most I've ever done. The goal is 59 reps per 5 min. I'm almost there!

 

Presses with 26

Tried some catch and release swings but started to rip some skin on my finger so decided to stop

Workout-

Warmed up with a couple of TGU with 35

August 5th Food and Workout Log

Workout-

7 sets of 7 reps double kb presses with 26s supersetted with pull-ups

Done with the 3 week challenge. Don't feel like I really ended it with a bang but I'm ready to head to whatever next Jim has instore for me. I really do feel like the squats helped.....my legs look more toned and I feel like it helped my hip/back. I don't know that I feel like I got stronger on the presses/pull-ups but that is where I really lack strength.

August 4th Food and Workout log

Workout:

Today was a very tough day for me. I haven't been getting a lot of sleep lately and it and allergies and other home circumstances took a toll on me tonight. Not making excuses, just know that I need to get more sleep to perform my best!

7 rounds of 7 double kb squats 1st round with 44s 6 rounds with 35s. And then I was done. Will finish my presses and pull-ups tomorrow. Did not have it in me to keep going. Had a hard enough time with the squats which had become easier…

August 3rd Workout and Food Log

Breakfast:

The last of the fage yogurt with raspberries

3 turkey sausages

 

Lunch:

Green salad with chicken(this is mixed with a little mayo) cuc tom broc water chestnuts

grapes

 

Snack: 20 almonds

2nd snack: feta sausage

3rd snack: 10 more almonds

I'm thinking I really wasn't that hungry but my mind was telling me otherwise.

Eating up the rest of the Fage yogurt, blueberries and some truvia

Large green salad with chicken, cucumbersm tomaote, broccoli,used up the rest of some mozz. cheese I had  Did not put on my usual peas and kidney beans like I usually do....:(

July 28 Workout and Food Log

Breakfast-

3 turkey sausages

2 eggs

Sugar free skinny cofffee from Dutch!

 

Lunch-

Turkey burger wrapped in lettuce with tomatoe with ketchup

10 french fries from my kids' meal ( only 10 for me is a BIG deal. I have a huge love/hate relationship with fries)

 

Snack-

1 tbs. peanut butter

 

Dinner-

Apple post workout

Handful of almonds

Workout-

Ran/walked with my kids this morning with the jogging stroller. Not as easy as I thought it was going to be. Then the girls wanted to get out and run too half way thru....not as productive of a run as I wanted..oh well we had fun     2 miles

7 min total non-stop

7-23 Food and Workout Log

Workout-

8 rounds of 6 reps of double squats with 35s

8 rounds of 6 reps of double presses with 26s followed by assisted pull-ups     These were really tough for me today. Much harder than Thurs.....not sure why....

6 min of LCCJ

3 min R with 38 total

3 min L with 39 total

That's averaging right around 13 a min which is pretty good for me!

Today was a rest workout day for me!

 

Food Log:

Breakfast:

1 banana

Smoothie made from SF FF Vanilla yogurt, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. Sipped on this almost all morning.

 

Lunch:

Snack on way home from work:

1/2 cucumber

went to my dads to pick up my kids and he had made me dinner....so sweet of him. Cooked ham wrapped in lettuce…
