Had some "Moosetracks" ice cream tonight.

(I don't eat many sweets. This has nothing to do with the calories. I DO NOT have a weight or fat loss goal, so I can really eat what I want.

I more avoid them because they are simply excess carbs, and mess with your insulin and energy levels. I noticed that my weight has dropped a little this week, and this looked good tonight. This is the advantage of eating less than 10-20% of my calories from carbohydrate and keeping a high activity level.

Another advantage of avoiding most all carbohydrates is a constant energy level throughout the day. I am constantly asked how I can go 6, 8 or sometimes 10 hours without eating and still have energy. This is because I am not in a constant rollercoaster of high blood sugar as a result of carb intake, followed by an insulin spike. I try to limit my carb intake strictly to postworkout or perhaps a little at night.

Remember: Carbs are needed to replace glycogen stores, and after that they are just excess baggage.

Note today's log: Only about 40gr of carbs until tonight's ice cream.

I did. You can't tell the difference in taste. I'm switching back to whey and going to see if I can tell the difference.

That's right...

Speaking of beef...if you ever get around to trying the beef protein powder, be sure to share.

I am experimenting with the whey again instead of the beef sources. One of the reasons I have been eating a little more during the day is because I have been training around 10-11am many days (2x a day at least a few days per week) and I really needed the extra calories.

Mmmm, Moosetracks! ;)

It almost seems like since you cut your serving of whey in half in the morning, you are eating more the rest of the day. Will be interesting to see what bringing back the extra whey does.

I eat very little carbs too, yet I can't seem to go more than 3-3.5 hrs without eating...5.5hrs has been the max. Then again, I can't eat huge meals at a time, either. Clean meals or not. People are different.

Thanks for this info!
