TRAINING/NUTRITION BLOG: 12/31/14

TRAINING:
31 GETUPS, SUPERSETTED WITH PULLUP LADDERS.
I actually made this a light day, because I knew it would take me right at an hour to get it done, and I knew that will the 90 pullups I would get in it would be a good session regardless of the weight. I only went up to the 32kg for getups, to work at a relatively comfortable pace with no risk of injury.

I also think the volume of windmills the day before left a little more impact than I realized. I have some theories as to why some short sessions seem to create a great "pump" in the muscle and more volume is not necessary. Think stress hormones jump really fast doing things like swings, and less really might be more.

This is a learning process.

NUTRITION:
Really didn't eat a whole lot today. I had little appetite after training and just wanted to relax after a productive training month.

8am-
200mg caffeine/green tea
1 tbsp coconut oil
small bowl with jerky and raw almonds
3000mg fish oil
5000iu vitamin D

about an 8oz pan-seared sirloin
5000iu vitamin D

Not much appetite. Sipped a generous glass of tequila, snacked on wild smoked salmon and some stuffed green olives, and took an Epsom salt bath.
