After training for as long as I have, I have gotten to know my body pretty well. I was starting to get soft from the higher reps with the lighter reps, so I decided to give it a couple days and then try this. Predictably, I felt a huge boost from this small number with the higher weight. Still tossing a few things around in my head on this.
NUTRITION:
Tonight was this week's cheat meal. We went to pick up our smoked turkey at our favorite BBQ restaurant and Stacey said there is no way we're going without having dinner. So, I decided to make it this week's cheat meal. Thanksgiving won't be a cheat for me. There is plenty of stuff that is perfectly healthy that I won't suffer in the slightest.
Please note that the calorie count was below what I am supposedly "allowed" and that in theory I would lose weight if I ate like this daily. Yes, the carb count was still pretty low, but eating junk like french fries and beer any more than occasionally will cause hormonal issues and inflammation to a degree that I would surely develop a great set of man boobs and a beer gut. Remember that it is the hormonal impact and inflammatory components of food, and not the calories that matter.
