TRAINING:
10AM-
Starting a new program of medium-light trapbar deadlifts and double kettlebell presses in volume. Today was relatively easy, but the volume is going to more than double over the next few weeks.
TRAPBAR DEADLIFTS AND DOUBLE KETTLEBELL PRESSES
4 LADDER SETS OF 2,3,5 REPS, ALTERNATED BETWEEN DEADS AT 1.5x BODYWEIGHT (335#) AND DOUBLE OVER HEAD PRESSES WITH DOUBLE 24KG KETTLEBELLS). 40 REPS OF EACH TOTAL.
515PM
TAEKWON-DO HYUNG PRACTICE
NUTRITION: Not even going to try myfitnesspal today.
9am-
1 heaping scoop of Cellucor C4 preworkout.
11am(after training)
couple big handfuls of a paleo trail mix with walnuts, hazelnuts, raw almonds, raw cashews, raisins, and dried cranberries. (The sugars in this are fine after training)
2000mg fish oil
2pm-
10 strips of bacon and about 2 ounces of grassfed cheese sliced in several lettuce wraps
about 6oz of homemade bone broth with a tablespoon of MCT oil mixed in
(This was nothing more than the leftover juices from a crockpot roast, with various seasonings. I sprinkled a little more pink salt).
2000mg fish oil
5000iu vitamin D
415pm-
about 200mg caffeine/green tea (preworkout)
9pm-
Stayed in Stacey and I pigged out on homemade guacamole and paleo tacos:
Guacamole-avocados, jalapeno, roma tomato, red onion, cilantro, garlic, salt, pepper and lime juice ground in a stone pestle.
Tacos-2lbs (for both of us) of grassfed ground beef with a wheat free taco seasoning served in romain lettuce hearts, wrapped up like tacos. Used tons of the guacamole with the tacos and used fried pork rinds for dipping instead of chips.
3000mg fish oil
5000iu vitamin D
1 tbsp MCT oil
B complex vitamin
11pm-
50mg zinc
500mg of a magnesium citrate blend
