I know I am full of s**t so take anything I post in the spirit is which it is given. I don't post what I eat because you would be horrified to learn that my lunches at work consist of cauliflower, tuna, hot sauce and mustard (yellow). I am certainly no gourmet but it seems to work for me. It fills me up. I now drink nothing but water and herbal tea. For dinner I have some form of protein and veggies and salad with vinegar and oil dressing. I snack on home made pepperoni sticks and jerky. I had some nuts but they don't seem to agree with my aged digestive tract. I have got to get into the cookbooks Rachelle forwarded to me because the meals look delicious. I just haven't taken the time to peruse them yet but since I anticipate I will be eating like this forever, there is plenty of time. Once again, I blame Jim B. for all this. Once I get in shape, I am going to beat him severely about the head and shoulders.

I appreciate your humor, but I do know you are taking this seriously. You are doing awesome and I'm proud of you (and the others) for taking on this challenge. Nowadays crap food really is everywhere and it takes effort to eat real healthy food a lot of the time. But, it does get easier as it becomes more habitual and second nature. I love that you aren't missing the processed foods. Also, I think my food logs are for the most part boring too, but I know there are people who read them and they are helpful, so I post. =)

Jim does take on a bit of a tough love approach which I think most of us need. He's there to push us when we don't have it in us to push ourselves.
