FOOD LOG:

 

7:10AM

- Cup of coffee with my all natural creamer  

9:30AM

- Chocolate Almond Butter Smoothie: 1C unsweetened almond milk, a 5.3oz cup of Oikos greek yogurt, big spoonful of almond butter, 1tsp psyllium fiber, 1tsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 packet of stevia, chocolate extract, ice

(Didn't turn out like I imagined, due to the different flavor almond butter gives)

12:20PM

- Can of tuna, straight up

- Big Garden Salad: Romaine salad mix, sliced celery, sliced cucumber, a whole sliced tomato, a chopped carrot, Ranch dressing

2:20PM

- Raw almonds with raisins (the few remaining cookies in the pantry were calling for me!)

6:00PM

- Beef patty with a slice of sharp cheddar, smear of mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle & tomato

- 2 celery stalks & 2 carrots dipped in Ranch

7:45PM

- Small handful of almonds

9:40PM (Post-Workout)

- Cup of 2% cottage cheese with 6 peach slices 

 

TRAINING:

Tonight, my wokout was done with a barbell & plates (I decided to not borrow any kettlebells while Jim was gone)

 

8:50PM

- 100 Overhead Presses with 40lbs: 10 sets of 10 (40lbs doesn't sound like much, but it felt like it the last few of each set) 1 minute rest between sets

- 100 Bent Rows with 56lbs: 10 sets of 10 (First set was done with 40lbs) 1 minute rest between sets

- 1 set of 8 close grip pushups supersetted with 10 bicep curls @ 36lbs

- 1 set of 8 close grip pushups supersetted with 15 bicep curls @ 20lbs

 

(Again, still battling this stubborn cold so that was about all I had energy for)
