FOOD LOG:
7:30AM
- Large cup of coffee with 2 creamers
8:15AM
- Half a 37g chocolate whey protein shake
10:00-10:30AM (Post-Workout)
- The other half of my shake
- 16 small green grapes
11:00AM
- Hashbrowns from one peeled potato cooked in coconut oil & seasoned with ground pepper and a tiny bit of salt (hubby nuked them in hot water for 2 minute which reduced the starch)
- 2 eggs cooked over easy in coconut oil. Mixed them up with the hashbrowns
12:45PM
- Two beef patties on a lettuce leaf with a little mayo, mustard & 3 pickle chips
- Side salad of romaine salad mix, mushrooms, a whole sliced roma tomato & Ranch
- 3 homemade french fries
3:00PM
- Can of yellowfin tuna (no soy) straight out of the can with some lemon juice
6:00PM
- Chinese Chicken Salad: Consists of chicken, coleslaw, soy sauce, vinegar, olive oil, garlic, ginger, cinnamon, sesame seeds & one package of dry ramen noodles. This made a big bowl that I had part of, so minimal damage done by the dry ramen.
8:00PM
- About 3/4C plain greek yogurt with just under 1/2tsp sugar free lemon gelatine
So my husband brought home some cookie dough because the boys kept asking for cookies. The smell of the chocolate chip cookies was nice and I felt a slight pull to sample. Proud to say that I didn't have a crumb! The feeling of honestly having a good nutrition day is awesome. Sooo much better then wishing I hadn't eaten this or that and having that guilt. Gotta keep that going! =)
TRAINING:
Starting a new 3 week program today. Lower body was up first!
9:00AM
-Reverse Drop Sets: 5 Series
- Walking Lunges 120yards with two 25lb dumbbells
- 76 Snatches with the 26
This was a total shock to my system which is a great thing! The last 3 weeks we played with tempo using lighter weight with no reps. According to my measurements this morning, that set-up didn't really produce much results. My body seems to respond best so far with the heavier weight/less reps. I'm looking forward to seeing what results the next 3 weeks along with the Snatch Challenge produces.
