7:36AM

- Cup of coffee with unsweetened plain almond milk (yes, this is allowed)- After a couple sips, this cup of coffee turned into a cup of decaf kombucha green tea. Wasn't feeling the coffee...

8:30AM

- A large slice of a gluten/dairy-free German pancake with a smear of butter (these are normally made with regular flour & milk, I made them with coconut flour and unsweetened almond milk. Other ingredients are eggs, pastured butter, salt, cinnamon and vanilla (the vanilla I had contained sugar so I had to omit it))

- 3 slices of bacon

11:30AM

- Handful of almonds

1:00PM

- One large, on the bone baked chicken breast- leftover from last night

- Several salted cucumber slices & 5 baby carrots

- Half an avocado with lemon juice and ground pepper

5:30-6:30PM

- 2 squares of 99% cacao chocolate (This I thought was allowed being as there is virtually a non existent amount of sugar in this amount, but now it might be a case of simply defeating the purpose of the detox. Need to find out for sure.)

7:00PM

- A bowl of pork, beets, celery, onion cooked in sesame oil with salt, garlic, fresh meyer lemon juice & cumin (there was also sweet corn in it, but I tried to get the least amount I could as that's not allowed)


TRAINING:

- None today. I took that 1.5hrs for some much need personal time after a rather hectic day.
