8:45AM

Vanilla Pancakes cooked in pastured butter and smeared with a little creamy almond butter: Recipe made 5 medium sized pancakes. I ate 3 and also added 1T of unsweetened dark cocoa powder to the batter

- 3 strips of smoked applewood bacon

11:00AM

- 2 Brazil nuts (I only eat two of these a day because they are extremely loaded with selenium. Just one nut gives you your recommended daily allowance of selenium & consuming too much of that element can actually produce ill effects)

1:10PM

- A big salad consisting of chopped romaine leaves, white mushrooms, sliced baby carrots, red onion, calamata olives, cucumber, celery, radish, 1/3 of an avocado, a little leftover cod from last night, a can of yellowfin tuna and dressed with a mixture of 1T EVOO, the juice of one meyer lemon, minced garlic, salt, pepper, oregano & basil

3:30PM

- A handful of baby carrots with almond butter

7:40PM

- 2 small pork chops cooked in bacon fat

- Some mixed veggies (carrots, green beans, squash, cauliflower) with salt


TRAINING:

- No workout today...had to plan for an unexpected doggie adoption! =)
