Notes:

On paper, I thought this would be a pretty light workout... Yeah... Should have known better. :)

 

Workout:

  • Max sets in 20 minutes of three reps of thrusters (each side) and ten reps of two-handed swings
  • Got in seven sets
    • Four sets of both thrusters and swings @ 24kg
      • Didn't mean to, but hit failure on the last reps of thrusters
    • Three sets of thrusters @ 20kg and swings @ 24kg

 

Nutrition:

 

Water: 0.5 gallons

 

8:00a - Noon:

Two eggs, onions, peppers

1.5 chicken apple sausage

Black coffee

2000IU Vitamin D

1000mg fish oil, Opti-Men multivitamin


Noon - 4:00p:

Bacon, tomato, lettuce wrap

0.5oz 88% dark chocolate

Larabar

Iced black coffee

1000mg fish oil, Opti-Men multivitamin

 

4:00p - 10:00p:

1000mg fish oil, Opti-Men multivitamin

Banana

Roast beef, cheese, tomato, horseradish mustard, lettuce wrap

Nectarine

Yes. Thrusters and swings is always a great combo.

You're aren't kiddin'!  I think I got that idea that they'd be easy from just doing a couple in the gym while watching Jim demonstrate.  Putting those things in a real workout is killer...

If you see thrusters on the menu, you are guaranteed a butt kicking...Great job!
