I'm actually trying to keep it around 50 grams for awhile just to see how it works for me. We'll see!

What is your carb limit?

In half a medium apple you have around 11 carbs. A  large cucumber with the peel has only about 11 carbs as well. I don't imagine you ate the whole thing or with the peel.  If your coffee was sugar free, I don't anticipate it having a large carb content. Any samples from Costco are little. Sooo, unless you are striving for staying around 50g carbs, I'd say you were just fine today.

Also, there is very little carb content (if any most of the time) in meats and eggs. Have at them!

It might help if you tracked your carb intake for a couple days...I think you would be surprised at how much more you can eat and still stay within your carb range.
