I didn't post yesterday. Forgot. But I was spot on with my nutrition and I am on my 3rd week of the program.

7 sets of 7 reps of double kb squats alternating between the 35s and 44s. Also double kb presses supersetted with double bent over rows with 44s.  Finished my workout with some walking lunges. Did my 100 burpees 1st thing that morning.

TODAY:

Breakfast:

3 turk saus

cottage cheese with berries

coffee with cremer

Snack:

almonds with jerky

Lunch:

Sausage with veggie mix

1/2 apple

sting cheese

120 burpees (didn't realize there is no amnesty day so I need to make up for the burpees I didn't do on Sunday)

Dinner:

Hot dog without bun

home made sweet pot fries

It is MUCH better for me to do the burpees in the morning. Way more energy for the day that way!

YES!!!! Please make an appearance!! I am usually there at the Sat morning class! Would LOVE to see you there! And if my body would just stop taking what I have left in the "chest" department and start taking it from my lower half I would be so happy! But alas, I guess that will be the last place it comes off. Hoping my diligence pays off one of these days!!!

Ha! That IS funny! I have his book, too! Sounds like your about 1.5 weeks ahead of me and yes, will be interesting how it works for us both. I feel better, too. Still getting used to no fats on the high carb days and keeping it all in order, but I do like it. The lower body is a great area for women to store fat and since that's where you store most of yours, your body will be reluctant to let it go. BUT, keep pushing on and eventually your body will be forced to give it up. Keep building that muscle too to burn more overall calories! =) And I really miss working out with you, also. Do you go to the Saturday class? I might have to make an appearance. =)

Too funny! That is the same one I'm doing! I have his book!! :)   It will be interesting to see the results we get! One thing.....I FEEL better! Healthier! And that is worth a lot to me! Hoping that it helps me get rid of these stinkin saddle bags that I can't seem to loose! UUGGGHHH!!!!!! :)  I sure do miss working out with you! :)

Too funny...you're doing awesome as is, so no worries. =) Glad your program is working for you! The first week was probably just water and maybe waste (I know that's what it was for me). And when you have less weight to lose, it will come off a little slower. I'm doing one by Chris Powell (he's on Extreme Makeover: Weightloss Edition) called Choose to Lose: The 7 Day Carb Cycle Solution. I saw him on Dr. Oz last week and really liked how it was set up. It's pretty similar to how we already eat but with some extras like oatmeal, granola, brown rice pasta or ezekiel bread (only on high carb days except breakfast; always carbs at breakfast). Anyway, you alternate high carb and low carb days during the week and Sunday is your "funday", unless you chose to have 3 cheat meals during the week.

Keep up your program for a couple more weeks and then decide. If you think you might be interested in the one I'm doing, I can give you more info on it.

Oh gracious! I can't press double 44s! I don't even think I could press one 44! :)  One day!!!!  The carb cycling is going pretty good. It's pretty easy to follow. I lost a couple of pounds the 1st week but then nothing the 2nd. A little discouraging but I am going to keep it up for awhile and see what happens! What program are you following?

Are you pressing the 44s now?

And, I was like you and didn't realize about the amnesty day. So I have 2 days to work in (the 2nd I was just feeling lazy). Morning is best for me, too. Out of the way and don't have to stress about it the rest of the day.

I found a program I like and started carb cycling last week. I like the balance and have lost some weight but I'm wondering if it's just from the calorie restriction. Either way, I'm happy! How are you liking your program?
