Workout:
Warm up of a few pull-ups and a few 44 lb. push presses, still working towards the strict press
5 minutes maximum reps of...
Snatches (5 full minutes, 1 minute each hand for 4 minutes and then 30 seconds each hand for the last minute with 26 lb. kb)
Swings (62 lb. kb 15 reps on the minute)
Squats (40 seconds on, 20 seconds off on the minute)
Double clean and press with (26 lb. kbs)
Burpee pull-ups (5 on the minute, had to stop for the last 2 rounds because my arm was bothering me)
Felt pretty good until the last round. Still struggling with some pain in my bicep, will need to keep an eye on that. I could not lift it above the shoulder on Thursday when I left the gym for about an hour. I might try and take some ibuprophen before I go tomorrow to see if that helps.
Food Log:
Breakfast:
Coffee and 2 tbsp. creamer, 1 egg, 2 turkey bacon
Lunch:
3/4 cup Fage 0% Total greek yogurt and fresh strawberries, 2 chicken/fets/spinach sausages - soooo good!
Dinner:
Grilled chicken on salad with pea pods, carrots, and a littl bit of cheese as well as a hard boiled egg, also had a few more strawberries
Splurge: I had some diet soda today as a "sweet" splurge :)
