TRAINING/NUTRITION BLOG: 10/08/12

TRAINING:

10AM-

218 SNATCHES WITH THE 24KG.

2782 LEFT.

I decided to work some of these into Tabata sets. I was able to get about 7 reps per 20 seconds, so this was only about 14RPM, but these seemed to take a lot more out of me than a straight set. I felt these more about an hour later. Not sure why. I have always thought snatches were not a good mix for a Tabata set, but I may be wrong. I will experiment more with this.

5PM-

TAEKWON-DO: 16 HYUNGS

My husband works for the company that makes Carl's Jr's burgers. There are no fillers in them. They make burgers for Wendys, Burger King and Jack in the Box as well (as well as all kinds of stuff for different places around here & beyond). JIB has some that has fillers (I think their sirloin) and Wendys is all meat also.

I thought it was pretty gross, really. I don't even want to think about the meat they used and what fillers were in there. I get kind of grossed out when I see those pre-made hamburgers anyway.

I think the low carb burgers are alright, but not really worth the money for what you get. You could spend another $5 for a sleeve of patties and all your toppings to make them better at home.
