**In the last few days since I have blogged, nutritionally there was some good, bad & ugly (a pint of coconut macaroon ice cream in one sitting, anyone?). Yesterday (Monday), I completed my very first 24hr fast. I've done up to 19hrs before and several 14-16hr fasts, but never a full 24. The only thing I had yesterday up until 6:15pm was a cup of coffee with a little stevia and vanilla extract first thing in the morning, water the rest of the day and a stick of cinnamon gum in the afternoon. I also did my normal training on Saturday...

7:15AM

- Cup of coffee with a little stevia and vanilla extract

10:05AM
- A 4 egg omelette cooked in butter with sliced baby bellas, chopped sweet roasted peppers, chopped fresh spinach, iodized sea salt, ground pepper, garlic powder, parmesan/romano cheese and topped with some fresh diced tomato & hot salsa

1:40PM

- A few bites of my son's mack & cheese

- 12 large shrimp cooked in butter with minced garlic, sliced baby carrots, sliced baby bellas, 2T butter & oregano and basil. Poured over a big bowl of mixed spring greens

2:50PM

- 2 squares of 99% cacao chocolate

3:30-3:50PM

- A few baby carrots with peanut butter

- A cup of coffee with a little stevia & vanilla extract

8:15PM

- 4 hot dogs with chili

TRAINING:

5:30PM

- Mini Warmup of 20 snatches with the 26 & 40 swings with the 53

- Deadlifts @ 210lbs for 5x5 with a 2 minute rest between sets

- Double KB Front Squats with the 53s for 5x5 with a 2-2.5 minute rest between sets

- Double KB Presses with the 35s supersetted with pullups for 5x5 each with a 1-1.5 minute rest between rounds

Thanks for the heads up! I got it fixed.

I felt alright doing the full 24hr fast. A little hungry off and on and my energy wasn't affected too much. I'm sure the many times I've done shorter fasts helped.

I think you mean deadlifts @ 210#...can't let everyone think that fast made you that weak.

Fasting once in a while seems to really do something with the appetite control other times. The fist time I did it I felt a little funny, but it really no big deal now.
