I skipped my melatonin tonight because I took some cold medicine for a little cold I'm fighting, and it made me drowsy anyway.

I would usually take ZMA, which is a proven supplement, but instead of that I am trying a combination of 50mg zinc, 500mg magnesium and vitamin B6, which are the three ingredients in ZMA. I just buy the raw ingredients instead of the ZMA capsules, and it is costs way, way less. A month of ZMA runs about $15, and this is about 6 months worth of the same stuff for about the same amount. Will see how it works.

I take that combo at night, too...Well not the B6 anymore, I take that in the afternoon. I take my calcium with the mag. Anyway...I don't see why taking the supps separately would be any less effective than taking them combined in one pill.
