Day #9 of detox

Breakfast:

4 chick saus

hard boiled egg

small handful of almonds

Lunch:

Brocc/caulif mix with a new sausage we got from Costco. They are horrible! Blech!! Will not be eating those again

small handful of almonds

WORKOUT:

Did my normal "lighter" run tonight of 2.4 miles and it totally sucked! I don't know here peeps. I am REALLY having a hard time with my energy. That is normally a really easy run for me and I peetered out within the 1st mile tonight. Really hoping to get a new surge of energy soon because this is no bueno!

I agree with Jim. You've got to bring in more food. I consumed a lot of fat during my detox. Even going thru 2.5 11oz containers of almond butter, LoL! I felt that helped with energy levels, especially during workouts. Try, starting with breakfast, making your meals just a little bigger.

Make sure that you are getting at least 120-150gr of protein from good sources, like whole beef, chicken and fish sources.  You might keep track of the actual number of grams you are getting. I don't think you are taking in enough calories either.

Make sure you are getting tons of fats from sources that are rich in omega3 fats. I try to limit the amount of things like sausage and bacon that I get because they have lots of omega6 fats, but not a great source of protein.

You have eliminated all the junk, but haven't replaced it with enough good stuff. You are in a pretty big calorie deficit. I know there is a provision in the detox for athletes in training, and special circumstances where you can have dense carb sources. You are training hard every day. You get some leeway.
