TRAINING/NUTRITION BLOG: 5/17/12 - Last Week of Tabatas.

MISC:

I just became aware of a new men's "fitness" competition called FIT USA. Why do so many men want to be beauty queens these days? Gentlemen: If your fitness routine involves the use of fake tanning, oil, and "poses" instead of fighting, handling weapons under stress, moving fast and lifting heavy stuff, then maybe you really do NEED all those testosterone booster products that I hear ads for all the time.

TRAINING:

4 Rounds of mixed Tabata drills: Three alternating 24kg Kettlebell snatches and kicking drills, and one alternating burpees and kicking drills.

Warmed up with one additional round of hand/foot combinations.

I have been using these drills 3-4X per week for the past 3 weeks. I may do another one Saturday, depending on how I feel, but the objective was to fit these in 3 of my 6 days per week of training for a few weeks, leading up to my 4th dan exam next week.
