Thanks Jim. Been on and off the site since the last time I saw you. I have been training pretty hard in my garage torture chamber. I will start posting my training log and maybe even some pics/vids.
No worries! It's good to be back in touch. I am loving my Kettlebell workouts. This 21 day sugar detox is hard to do on a holiday weekend. It's only day 5...shoot .
Could you please let me know how to get started with you guys? I've never swung that shiney new kettlebell in my picture. I'd rather not hurt myself by cluelessness :)
http://www.ikff.net/files/IKFF%20Rankings.pdf yeah check it out...still confused about a few things again with the Biathlon and the Long Cycle, will have to cut down to 150 lbs, but I want to do it! ...ps, love it when you try to correct me and them I'm right! haha
Hi Jim, I would like to workout that is most important to me on kettlebell program so should I workout on clean power and snatch ladder or military press then swings for 4 sets of 20 reps?? and last two things rows and bench press or french on the floor with KB with 4 sets of 5 reps?? I just come back to workout so just let me know, thank you for your time, Ronnie
it really wasn't as hard as i thought it was going to be. true testament to the benefit of the ladders.. i feel much stronger. i know inches are gone and endurandce is way up. i'm thinking snatches for the next challenge.
Was going awesome till I pulled a groin muscle...Been taking it easy but am heading back in to it now. The deadlift was normal barbell deadlifts but the series start on a 3" platform gradually increasing weight. Then the platform drops to 2" then 1" then at floor level. I will send you the link if I can find it again. It was on the dragondoor site somewhere. My plan for June is Deadlifts and a Pullup/Snatch schedule similar to the press swing schedule from last month. I alternated ladders of Press with the 70# and weighted Pullups 53# for single 35# double, and 25# triple. All of these followed by 5 snatches /side on the min as done before. These CRUSHED me. Felt really good though.
Looking for some ideas to begin next month. Will have completed the get ups and the press/swing ladders. I am thinking some pull up/snatch stuff and starting another deadlift cycle. I don't want to eliminate swings though. Ideas?

Thanks Jim! Great to be here. My wife and I met Katie F. at Crossfit. I am a long-time kettlebell guy and am looking into getting certified to teach.
Sweet!! Thanks!!
Finally had time to set up. I'm really looking forward to seeing gains from the muscle building workout.
