Notes:

I'm going to make more of an effort to watch my protein intake and keep it around one gram per pound.  I've been reluctant to use much whey because I can't seem to find a straight answer to whether or not it causes too large of an insulin spike.  That fact that it does spike insulin seems to be universally accepted.  The effect of that spike on leaning out seems to be less clear.

Been a bad week.  I don't function that well with Carol gone.  I married well.  :) 

 

Beyond that, right after she left, our basement got flooded with all kinds of damage.  Insurance is refusing to pay.  Nightmare...

Workout:

9 ladder sets of:

2 double presses with the 35's, 2 pull-ups

3 double presses with the 35's, 3 ring-rows

5 double presses with the 35's, 5 bent-arm rows with the 60 lb.

 

Crusher arm thingies with the 26 until my arms wouldn't go... and my until my kids wouldn't sit still any longer ;)

Double Kettlebell 1/2 Snatch (double 20kg kettlebells), supersetted with Hindu pushups: 5 of each at the top of each minute for 10 minutes.

5 Rounds 5 reps of suitcase deadlifts w/ 70s

2 rounds of 5 reps of double kb squats w/35s (didn't get all 5 rounds in)

 

Dinner:

Great big salad from Idaho Pizza Company!

Ran 2 1/2 miles and did some extra squats

 

3 bites of a ice cream bar that my husband had.
